Le bonheur est dans l'instant  is an association, founded in September 2019.It is also the name of an art gallery located at 72 rue Amelot in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, which is the nerve centre of the artistic project led by Xavier Gras, founder of the association and the gallery.

The gallery hosts numerous artists for solo exhibitions and also organises thematic and group exhibitions such as ‘Ode à la Joie’, a multidisciplinary international exhibition that brought together 70 artists from 14 countries in Amsterdam in May 2024 and at the Bastille Design Center in Paris in May 2025.

 

It's a special kind of art gallery because it doesn't operate on the same basis as the usual art galleries. It is based on the observation that the function of art has shifted. Until recently, sharing and exhibiting art was the preserve of specialists and professionals. Social networks show that the number of artists producing and creating has exploded around the world, and as a result alternative exhibition spaces need to emerge that allow artists to share their work, meet the public, spectators and other artists.‘Le bonheur...’ offers thousands of artists with no home base the chance to spend some time within its walls, catch their breath and set off on a new stage of their artistic journey.

The business model allows everyone to move forward, whether or not they have already been identified by professionals, gallery owners or artistic agents. ‘Le Bonheur...’ gives them the chance to try, to experiment, to take risks. Each exhibition is an opportunity to embark on a new adventure in the fields of art, communication and sales, and ‘Le Bonheur...’ offers support tailored to each individual. This is why ‘Le Bonheur est dans l'instant’ is an exhibition laboratory.​

Le bonheur est dans l’instant est une association loi 1901 à but non lucratif qui a été fondé en septembre 2019.
C’est aussi le nom d’une une galerie d’art située 72 rue Amelot dans le 11ème arrondissement de Paris et qui est le centre névralgique du projet artistique que porte Xavier Gras fondateur de l’association et de la galerie. Ce lieu accueille de nombreux artistes pour des expositions individuelles et organise aussi des expositions thématiques et collectives telles que "Ode à la Joie”, une exposition internationale pluridisciplinaire qui a regroupé à Amsterdam en mai 2024, 70 artistes de 14 pays et à Paris en mai 2025, 65 artistes au Bastille Design Center.

C’est une galerie d’art particulière car elle ne fonctionne pas sur les mêmes bases que les galeries d’art habituelles. En effet elle est fondée sur le constat que la fonction de l’art s’est déplacé. Jusqu’à récemment, partager et exposer de l’art était réservé aux spécialistes et professionnels. Les réseaux sociaux témoignent que le nombre d’artistes qui produisent et créent a explosé partout dans le monde et en conséquence des lieux d’exposition alternatifs doivent émerger permettant aux artistes de partager leur création, de rencontrer du public, des spectateurs et d’autres artistes.
"Le bonheur...” offre la possibilité à ces milliers d’artistes sans port d’attache de s’installer un temps dans ses murs, de reprendre leur souffle pour repartir vers une nouvelle étape de leur parcours artistique.
Le modèle économique du lieu permet à chacun d’avancer, qu’il ait été ou non déjà repéré par des professionnels, galeristes ou agents artistiques. "Le Bonheur...” leur offre la possibilité d’essayer, de tenter, de risquer. Chacune des expositions est l’occasion d’une nouvelle aventure à investir dans le domaine artistique, de la communication, de la vente, et "Le Bonheur...” offre un accompagnement adapté à chacun. C’est en cela que "Le Bonheur est dans l’instant” est un laboratoire d’exposition.
