Son parcours photographique commence dans la photographie de presse, d’où lui vient l’instinct d’observation du journaliste.
En cherchant des outils plus appropriés pour son projet artistique, Ana découvre les procédés anciens. Les imperfections et les artefacts de la propre matière photographique apportent des notes d’abstraction et de lyrisme à la représentation du réel, un équilibre parfait pour rendre plus perceptibles les émotions de son univers intime.
A partir de 2012, Ana participe à des ateliers de collodion humide, papier salé, albuminé et aristotypes. Dernièrement, elle s'est spécialisée dans le marron Van Dyck, le cyanotype et le kalitype.
À travers ses expériences personnelles, elle explore dans ses séries le rapport de l’être humain avec soi-même et avec les autres. Elle essaie de mettre l’individu face à son histoire et à son projet d’avenir.
Avec une approche à la frontière de la photographie et de la peinture, Ana mène une réflexion sur la réalité intime du quotidien et s’écarte délibérément des critères esthétiques conventionnels de la photographie.
Her photographic journey begins in the magazine press, where Ana got the reporter’s instinct of observation.
Looking for more suitable tools for her artistic project, she discovers the old photographic processes. The abstraction, as well as the lyricism coming from the imperfections and artifacts of the photographic matter, helps the emotions of her intimate universe to be more perceptible.
From 2012 Ana has participated in workshops of wet collodion, salted, albumen paper and aristotypes. Recently, she's working with brown Van Dyck, cyanotype and kallitype.
Through her personal experiences, she explores in her series the relationship of human beings with themselves and with others. Ana tries to put the individual in front of his history and the way he projects himself in his future.
With a focus on the frontier of photography and painting, she tries to reflect on the intimate reality of everyday life and deliberately deviate from conventional aesthetic photographic criteria.
