The works presented are created in traditional processes using mostly old wooden large-format cameras, in various noble techniques - wet collodion, cyanotypes, Van Dyck, bichromate gum, hand-tinted gelatine-silver prints, pinhole photography, lith prints or the Polaroid process, which is no longer used today. The aim of the site is to show that it is possible to use these seemingly
archaic historical techniques to create contemporary conceptual photographs that are expressions of artistic imagination. The imperfection of these techniques gives the photographs a unique character, different from the ‘perfect’, improved and massively reproduced digital photography.
What is important in them is the creative process and the uniqueness of the work, which can no longer be improved.
